Tales From The Mancave | What a week.

Croyde Sunset | North Devon Photography | Matt Fryer

What a week it has been, obviously the weather has been nothing like the above image but I chose this one from the archives for two reasons.

No.1 – To serve as a memory that North Devon can produce some amazing sunsets and we do have great weather, occasionally..
No.2 – I am now down to my last 3 copies of this limited editions canvas print. So be quick if you are interested in purchasing a copy. See here for full details Croyde Limited Edition Print

Aside from the weather it’s been a manic week here in the mancave. On the back of another double header weekend of weddings at two stunning North Devon venues with two amazing sets of couples it’s been a week full of wedding client meetings resulting in near double figure wedding bookings for both 2013 and some winter 2012 weddings all along with a flurry of wediting (That’s wedding image editing!) to round the week off. 2013 is already looking a very busy one, seeing me being booked to shoot some wonderful weddings locally here in North Devon along with some weddings slightly further afield across the South West next year. Some very exciting times ahead.

If you or anyone you know is getting married in North Devon, The south West or anywhere in the UK or further a field then please check out my dedicated Wedding and Lifestyle Portraits website here – Matt Fryer Weddings and Lifestyle Portraits.

Also this week has seen a huge number of enquiries and commissions being taken for my commercial work. Assorted clients across the South West calling on me to create imagery that is professionally shot, creative and that works for them and their brand / company. It’s great to see companies finally realising that the days of “Oh they must be good as they have an expensive camera” are finally disappearing.
Hiring a professional photographer to shoot the right imagery for you may seem expensive at the time but when you weigh up the cost of what damage poor imagery can do in terms of lost business, it’s a small price to pay to get it done right the first time. All too often I am now seeing companies pay for a cheaper inexperienced photographer who produces poor imagery for them to then only call upon one of the many professionals around the county that know how to use a camera and shoot some stunning imagery for them and that works for their business.

If you are in the market for a commercial photographer then why not drop me a line to see what I can do for you and your company.
My services extended to all aspects of commercial photography and more recently videography. This runs from still product imagery, corporate head shots, imagery from training days through to interior and exterior property photography and of course the increasing popular 360VR panoramic shots.

Here’s hoping for an upturn in the weather soon so we can all enjoy some stunning sunsets like the one above. Enjoy.
